ICAD has officially commenced the National Center for Meteorology (NCM) Meteorological Systems Operation and Maintenance Project, further strengthening its role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s critical infrastructure and national weather services.
The project is focused on ensuring the continuous operation, reliability, and accuracy of meteorological systems across the Kingdom, enabling real-time weather data acquisition to support aviation, marine operations, environmental monitoring, forecasting, and public safety.
Leveraging a dedicated team of approximately 60 technical specialists and field support personnel, ICAD is delivering comprehensive operation and maintenance services across NCM’s nationwide network through its regional presence in the Central, Western, Eastern, Northern, and Southern regions of Saudi Arabia.
The scope covers a wide range of advanced meteorological technologies, including weather observation systems, Doppler weather radars, upper-air observation systems, marine monitoring platforms, windshear alert systems, and atmospheric sensing solutions. Services include 24/7 technical support, preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, spare parts management, logistics coordination, training, and reporting.
